Discrimination Disclosure Form
Real estate licensees are required to provide a Discrimination Disclosure Form at the first point of substantive contact to prospective purchasers, tenants, sellers, or landlords (effective 6/20/2020). Additionally, licensees are required to post a Fair Housing Notice on their websites, at their open houses and within their office windows (effective 6/20/2020). Learn how to comply with the law by taking this 3 credit Real Estate Continuing Education course, which also explores the legitimacy of testers, the concept of entrapment, and how to defend a discrimination claim brought before the New York State Division of Human Rights. This course will prepare you to broker transactions in a world where consumers are now noticed of how to bring a discrimination action against you at the outset of your interactions.
